COMMERCIAL FISHERMEN GIVE BACK TO LOCAL COMMUNITY
This week commercial fishermen of Dare County, who were participants in a South Atlantic Deep Water Long Line Survey donated their catch to Beach Food Pantry of Kitty Hawk NC. The Blue Line Tilefish were valued at an estimated market value of $15 per pound.
The fish were filleted, packaged, frozen and delivered by Willie R. Etheridge Seafood of Wanchese, NC.
NCFA Board, staff and fellow members are very proud of our commercial fishermen and thank you for your generosity.
