Highly Migratory Species (HMS) Update
This is the same presentation presented last week at the MAFMC meeting. The majority of the proposed actions will do nothing but create more burdens for our commercial fishermen.

Citizen Science Projects & Program Evaluation Update
The Citizen Science presentation is always interesting and engaging. One of the many interesting projects this program has been working on is FISHstory. This project analyzes historic charter for-hire photos to estimate catch and fish lengths from the early days of the for-hire industry. SAFMC staff was also able to recently gather photos from Dare county archives to be analyzed through this ongoing project.
