NORTH CAROLINA LEGISLATIVE RACES FOR 2020 PRIMARY:

As we’ve done in the past, we will attempt to let you know of any candidate gatherings where you can meet those candidates running for NC House and Senate. Candidates need to advise us of what they’re doing so we can advise you. We have sent some fishing questions to candidates and will continue to do so. We’ll distribute their answers at the appropriate time. The primary is March 3rd.

Today, Friday February 7th, is the deadline to register to vote for the primary! Early voting begins February 13th.

NC HOUSE DISTRICT 3:

There are 4 candidates in the Republican primary for NC House District 3, which is Michael Speciale’s seat. He’s not running again:

NC HOUSE DISTRICT 6:

Bobby Hanig is the incumbent, and has a Republican challenger, Rob Rollason.

NC HOUSE DISTRICT 14:

George Cleveland is the incumbent, and has a Republican challenger, Cindy Edwards.
