Upcoming SAFMC Meeting
The South Atlantic Fisheries Management Council (SAFMC) meets next week in St. Augustine, Florida for their June Council meeting.
Written public comment can be submitted online and the Council will also have a hybrid public comment session Wednesday, June 10th at 4:00pm for both online and in-person comment.
Topics of interest include:
Commercial Electronic Logbook Plan, Marine Information Program (MRIP) Update, Blueline Tilefish, Amendment 60 (Commercial Snapper Grouper Management Measures), Amendment 61 (Snapper Grouper Fishery Management Unit Revision), and Dolphin and Wahoo Regulatory Amendment 3 (Minimum Size Limits and Recreational Retention Limits for Dolphin).
