NORTH CAROLINA LEGISLATIVE RACES FOR 2020 PRIMARY:
As we’ve done in the past, we will attempt to let you know of any candidate gatherings where you can meet those candidates running for NC House and Senate. Candidates need to advise us of what they’re doing so we can advise you. Also, we will be sending some questions to those candidates who have a primary on March 3rd and will distribute their answers.
NC HOUSE DISTRICT 3:
There are 4 candidates in the Republican primary for NC House District 3, which is Michael Speciale’s seat. He’s not running again. I’ve heard from 2 regarding upcoming events:

Jim Kohr: Saturday, February 1: Meet & Greet; Moore’s BBQ New Bern; 6:00 – 9:00pm.
Steve Tyson: Saturday, February 8; Meet & Greet; River Bend Country Club New Bern; 4:00 – 6:00pm.
NC HOUSE DISTRICT 6:
Bobby Hanig is the incumbent, and has a Republican challenger, Rob Rollason.
